Wine Tour info for Long Island Airbnb(TM) renters

Staying at an Airbnb™ on the North Fork or Hamptons? If you are looking for a wine tour package on Long Island, we can offer several suggestions based on where your Airbnb™ is located as well as the number of guests in your group and other particulars. East End Wine Tasting Tours™ offers over 38 Wineries, breweries and cider tasting rooms. We also have over 135 individual options that we choose from to create your ideal Long Island wine tour. There is no extra cost for our company to create custom wine tour packages. Wineries can charge anywhere from-$10-14/pp for the economical / party wineries, to $15-$19/pp for Mid Range-Better wineries up to $20 - $65/pp for premium venues and we also have options from $75 - $210/pp per venues for the Premium+++ options. We do not push any particular wineries or venues. But we build a tour around what the client may be looking for as long as the client meets the criteria of the venue they wish to visit.

Wading River Airbnb (Wine tours to North Fork And Hampton Vineyards).
If you are staying at an Airbnb™ in the town of Wading River, you will be approximately 15-20 minutes by limousine from the beginning of the  North Fork Long Island wine trail. Wading River is a quiet neighborhood, hilly is some areas and if you are lucky enough to stay on Creek Road, you have the beach at your door step. If you are looking to dine after your wine tour, La Plage is a beachy cottage, but elegant French American. Other local restaurants are Phil's Place, and we really love North Tavern. If you wish to tour the Hampton Wineries on the South Fork, then you ride from your Wading River Airbnb™ will be at least 75 minutes to Channing Daughters, the 1st stop of the (3) vineyard Hampton Wine Tour presented by East End Wine Tasting Tours™. We can create a multitude of wine tour packages for the North Fork based on your group size, type of group, budget and what you seek in your wine tour.
Our Minimum wine tour duration will be (6) Hours from Wading River.

Aquebogue -Jamesport Airbnb (Wine tours to North Fork And Hampton Vineyards).
If you are staying at an Airbnb™ in the town of Aquebogue or Jamesport, you will be 5 minutes by limousine from the beginning of the North Fork Long Island wine trail on Main Road. Main Road and Sound Ave or North Road 48 are a few miles apart and serve a majority of the wineries. Both Aquebogue and Jamesport are minutes from Peconic Bay, quiet neighborhoods, great for biking if you are looking for other activities. If you are looking to dine after your wine tour, Il Giardino Restaurant by John Gambino is excellent, the elegant Jedediah Hawkins and Grana for some of the best pizza.
If you wish to tour the Hampton Wineries on the South Fork, then you ride from your Wading River Airbnb™ will be at least 55 minutes to Channing Daughters, the 1st stop of the (3) vineyard Hampton Wine Tour presented by East End Wine Tasting Tours™.
We can create a multitude of wine tour packages for the North Fork based on your group size, type of group, budget and what you seek in your wine tour. Your Airbnb™ would be within 5-10 minutes from Sherwood House, Paumanok, Jasons, EV and EM and Jamesport Vineyards. These wineries are more premium in cost, except for Jasons, which is considered to be popular and lively mid range costing. Paumanok is an awarding winning boutique vineyard  and will take groups from 10 Am to 1 PM only. Jamesport Vineyard actually is listed as a restaurant as well, NOFO pizza Co during winery hours only.  Jamesport is a Premium+ winery, but one of the best places to be when the sun is shinning.
We generally have a (6) hour minimum for tours from these locations; which can enable 3-4 winery/brewery / other venue stops.


Mattituck Airbnb -  (Wine tours to North Fork Vineyards)
If you are staying at an Airbnb™ in the town of Mattituck, you are basically in the heart of North Fork wine trail. Traveling to wineries to the west, will be up to 20-25 minutes and traveling east will be about 20 minutes. Nearby will be Laurel Lake, Macari and RGNY wineries.
After a tour of the wineries, there are a few restaurants in the area such as A Mano and CJ's American Grill. A few quaint places can be found on the infamous Love Lane including Love Lane Kitchen, great for Breakfast and Lunch. small stores can be found there as well including the Village Cheese shop. East End Wine Tasting Tours™  did offer a (3)  course prix fixe lunch in our wine tour packages on weekends at A Mano Restaurant (Pre-Covid tune in for 2023)
Nearby EV and EM vineyard offers lower Premium Value, complete with reserved seating and table-side introduction into each of their wines Monday thru Saturday only. On Saturdays, from mid May thru October, they offer a Lunch/Glass of wine event option, in addition to their tasting flights at a reasonable cost. Macari Vineyards, a Ultimate premium winery, offers platform luxury tents as well as private suite. Groups up to (20) are welcome in their Wine Barrel Cellar for a Premium++ option.

We generally have a (6) hour minimum for tours on weekends from Mattituck, which can enable 3-4 winery stops or a combination of a couple with a local restaurant.



Cutchogue Airbnb - (Wine tours to North Fork Vineyards)
If you are staying at an Airbnb™ in the town of Cutchogue, you will have the greatest concentration of vineyards. You will be minutes away from approximately 10 wineries.
Economical or party type wineries such as Pindar, Duckwalk and Pugliese are found in Cutchogue. Pindar and Duckwalk offer a large menu of wines. Pugliese can get packed on weekends but you can get their early if you desire to try the Port or Sparkling wines among others.
Mid Range or Better Wineries such as Bridge Lane or Pellegrini are always nice. Pellegrini is the only winery allowing our boxed lunch offerings or your own food inside, with reserved seating. Bridge Lane permits food inside, but it is small and you will not be seated.
There are also premium boutique wineries such as Saninno Vineyard, ranked as the top 10 wine tours in the USA for over 8 years.  Other premium boutique wineries are McCall, Rose Hill & Mattebella Vineyards. Larger Premium wineries such as Raphael and Bedell Cellars can be found in Cutchogue.
Of course, we offer over 50 wineries, breweries and cider venues in which we can create your own tour across all the wineries on the North Fork.


We generally have a (6) hour minimum for tours on weekends from your Cutchogue Airbnb™, which can enable 3-4 winery stops or a combination of a couple with a local restaurant.


Greenport Airbnb - (Wine tours to North Fork Vineyards)
If you are staying at an Airbnb™ in Greenport, you will be within 12-15 minutes of a few wineries that are located on the east end of the wine trail. You will also have Kontokosta Vineyard out the outskirts of Greenport Village; which does not permits vans, limos and buses. And within walking distance within the village, there is the smaller Greenport Harbor Brewery tasting location.

The remaining wineries will be located up to 45 minutes west. However there are a cluster of wineries within 20-23 minutes, so need not be travel to the 'party winery" Baiting Hollow Farm Vineyard located 45 minutes away.
 
There are plenty of restaurants in Greenport, including favorites Noah's & Port Waterfront Bar & Grill and a  lovely waterfront area. Claudios Dock is bustling with live music on weekends from Memorial Weekend. Hop on the 12 minute Ferry  ride with your bicycle or car and enjoy the quaint Shelter Island.

 Southold Airbnb -  (Wine tours to North Fork Vineyards)
 If you are staying at an Airbnb™ in Southold, you will be within 20 minutes of a majority of the wineries; with the remaining wineries within 30 minutes.  Nearby is The Old Field Vineyard, a very rustic winery with some excellent wines and also a beautiful waterfront area. One Woman Vineyard is worth a visit if you have a group of less than 5 people. Croteaux Vineyard is worth visiting on your own as they limit certain group sizes to 8 Guests. 
Nearby Eateries are Alure Chowder House, in which we offer a 3 course prix fixe lunch and the infamous North Fork Table. The Elbow East, famous steaks & the Best coffee on the East End is the North Fork Roasting Co.

Nearby East Marion you will find Lavender By The Bay

We generally have a (6) hour minimum for tours on weekends from your Southold Airbnb™, which can enable 3-4 winery / brewery stops or a combination of a couple with a local restaurant.

Shelter Island  Airbnb - (Wine tours to North Fork Vineyards)
If you are staying at an Airbnb™ on Shelter Island, well, lucky you. Some of us grew up on Shelter Island on summer weekends during the late 70's and early 80's and do we have stories. Some of us still see it as paradise. Bring your bike or rent one and explore.

Nearby hangouts are The Chequit Inn and Sunset Beach Hotel and restaurant. Check out Vine Street Cafe or one of our favorites, SALT Waterfront Bar and Grill. Ride your bike to Shell Beach. And if hiking is your thing, head to Mashomack Preserve.

Our company, East End Wine Tasting Tours™, can pick you up at your Shelter Island Airbnb™ or if you prefer to save some money, reserve a cab to bring you to the North Ferry, walk on and we can pick you and your friends in Greenport. Then the drive to the North Fork Wineries will be anywhere from 15 to 50 Minutes. Likewise, we can do the same and head to the 3 Hampton Wineries via the South Ferry.

Minimum Tour duration is (6) hours from your Shelter Island Airbnb™ . Double roundtrip Ferry Costs would be added if we would pick you up on Shelter Island as well as drop you off.  We have instant and accurate costs.



North Haven Airbnb - (Wine tours to North Fork or Hampton Vineyards)
If you are staying at an Airbnb™  in North Haven, you can elect to take  both the North and South Ferries to Greenport for a pickup in that town to the North Fork Wineries or we can pick you up in North Haven, and drive around Riverhead or around the Peconic Bay to get to the North Fork. You can also really make a day of it by doing a tour of the twin forks, driving around one way and taking the combinations of North and South Ferry, possibly stopping for dinner on Shelter Island.
Tours from North Haven to the North Fork will have a minimum of (7) hours, while the Hampton Tours will have a minimum duration of (6) hours on weekends.


Sag Harbor Airbnb - (Wine tours to North Fork or Hampton Vineyards)
If you are staying at an Airbnb™ in Sag Harbor, you can elect to take both the North and South Ferries to Greenport for a pickup in that town to the North Fork Wineries or we can pick you up in Sag Habor, and drive around Riverhead /Peconic Bay to get to the North Fork. You can also really make a day of it by doing a tour of the twin forks, driving around one way and taking the combinations of North and South Ferry, possibly stopping for dinner on Shelter Island.

Sag Harbor has many restaurants as well as shops. Frequent eateries among our past guests have been simple Dockside Bar & Grill, The Restaurant at Baron's Cove, Wolffer Kitchen, and the younger crowds hang at Back Page Cafe. Upscale at Page at 63 Main.
Tours from Sag Harbor to the North Fork will have a minimum of (7) hours.

The (3) Hampton Wineries are within 20-to 30 minutes depending on traffic. Wollfer Estate Winery, Channing Daughters and Duckwalk South.  They each have group restrictions. Our Boxed Lunch offering thru locally Golden Pear Cafes are permitted only at Duckwalk South, outside only - weather permitting - with no advanced reserving of tables.
Our minimum Hampton Tours are generally (6) hours on weekends.
